Bronson Elliott Woods, Chairman

The Reverend Bronson Elliott Woods, MDiv is the newly elected Chairman of the Board for Children's Heaven. He serves as the Assistant Pastor of Outreach & Young Adult Ministries of the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church "America's Freedom Church" in Atlanta, GA. Ebenezer is the spiritual home of the late Reverend Dr. Martin, Luther, King, Jr and serves as the heartbeat of the Civil Rights Movement. Prior to serving as Pastor, he had served over 10 years on Capitol Hill as a Senior Advisor to United States Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18). He was apart of the work that brought more than $5 billion in funds to Houston, TX. The funds were used to create jobs and increase the qualities of transportation, education, health care and support NASA. A Veteran of the US Air Force and a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Southern University and attended post graduate school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Reverend Woods received his Master of Divinity from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ATL); his preaching license from the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church of Houston, TX where Reverend Dr. Marcus D. Cosby serves as senior pastor; and recently ordained by Reverend Dr Raphael G. Warnock, Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.. He also holds regular lectures at The Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia). When he is not preaching, Minister Woods enjoys Hot Bikram Yoga, traveling the world, and jazz music. He lives by the motto of “Keep the faith, baby!”
